Every endpoint on this page needs the /contacts grant.

Create a contact

POST /contacts/create-contact

If the number already exists, the existing contact is returned with "message": "The contact is already existing", so it’s safe to call this endpoint more than once for the same number.

If a group ID doesn’t exist, the response is:

Note

You don’t need to create a contact before you message someone. Sending a template message creates the contact automatically.

Contacts are sorted newest first.
